I smell life within the walls of your rotting corpse.
A hint of something past.
Perhaps the remnants of a withering soul
Nevertheless a trace of life remains weak yet clinging.
Not knowing of its future plight until the very last second.
like an ember burning amongst ashes. awaiting it's death or rebirth.
Some where it is written on invisible pages, a fate hidden from your sight.
But I, Karma can read your wounds and sense the fear left by ghosts who you promised love.
Your heart stained by tears they cried.
The sent calls me to your side.
You reach out to me as if I were an angel of salvation.
I keep to the shadows hidden from your sight. you can feel my presents and hear my wings as I move closer.
I step into the moonlight and you see my wings dark as ebony as they envelop you.
ice blue eyes shimmer in the moonbeams as I sip the remainder of your pitiful soul.
Leaving your body limp and lifeless for the moon to mourn.

Lady Karma can be a bitch and when payment is due you lose.

A bit curious as to whether "Gentleman Karma," as it were, feels the same way....

Interesting question Connie.

Maria, is all lost? Are we totally helpless to our fate?

Thanks,
Bob
